We all drink—water, beer, tea—you name it. There’s a better way to drink with BrüMate. They are the only insulated drinkware brand with a 100% leakproof lid and an Adventure-Proof Lifetime Guarantee. As the lead copywriter, I defined their fan-centric brand voice on all communication platforms, from social to influencer whitelisting to out-of-home.

 
 

Intro: BrüMate dropped this awesome new cooler with all-terrain rolling wheels, a built-in 2.8 gallon drink tank, and a tap, The Brütank. We knew we had to spread the word, build brand hype & be a breakout in a very saturated market.
Insight: Hire a spokesperson for this incredible drink dispensing machine who can put people onto BrüTank’s features, highlighting that this cooler can go anywhere. Could we have hired a real human for this? Sure, but that’s easy. We decided to tap into AI trends & CGI influencers & create a campaign that was out of this world (literally).
Solution: Meet BrüTus, the first robot-cooler influencer. Yes, we really built this 🤖

Brünarios

Brütus is introduced via email and organic social. Posts highlight “Brünarios” or clever scenarios highlighting the myriad of environments where this cooler is licensed to chill. In addition, more Brünarios were posted in the upcoming months to keep the engagement going.

 

Where in the World is Brütus?

Landing page familiarizes fans with Brütus and gives them a chance to order the BrüTank directly on the site. Fans can join “Team Brütus” by entering their email, increasing BrüMate’s overall email subscriber rate and overall engagement.

 
 
 
 
 
 

Mystery BrüBox

Background: BrüMate’s wholesale team over-ordered product, leaving us with more drinkware than we knew what to do with. As a growing brand, we knew putting everything on sale could affect our product value (ie. customers don’t want to pay full price if they know they can get it discounted later).
Insight: Game-ify your discount.
Solution: Taking inspiration from streetwear and limited-edition collaborations, we created The Mystery BrüBox. Twice a month, we drop exclusive mystery boxes on our website, notifying our BrüCrew via paid & organic social posts, SMS texts, and push notifications through the BrüMate app. Boxes were only available for one hour, one day only. Since its inception, Mystery BrüBoxes have sold out in 15 minutes or less.
